Over the moon with Shannon . We were traveling from California to Lake Geneva, WI to get married. A wedding is stressful enough , but planning from a far is even crazier . Shannon kept my nerves calm and kept in touch through emails constantly . She knew the perfect questions to ask and I had complete coincidence in her . Sure enough, day of the wedding ... She was on time , never in the way and ever picture she took was perfect . After the wedding I received my proofs within a week and my wedding books within 2 weeks . Shannon is awesome, super organized, and was super helpful the day of the wedding. She asked our opinion and listened to our ideas. She made sure that we got the pictures we wanted. She was very fun and easy to work with. She was more than a photographer on our wedding day, When I was thirsty she got me a soda, when I was about to freak out she told me it was gonna be okay, when my dress broke she got on the floor and fixed it. To whoever is reading this, you would be very lucky to have her photograph your special day. I promise you won't regret it.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to speak with them over the phone to find out more about what they're looking for in a photographer, as well as to let them know what I offer. If they are in need of a wedding photographer, and would like to meet in person, I am happy to do so. This is a great way for us to see if our personalities click and have some great back and forth conversation about the wedding day.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm always searching for new ideas and inspiration. I keep up on lighting techniques by taking on-line workshops and reading books & articles.
