Stephen was very detailed, thorough, and preofessional in his presentation. He went through, with detail, the various types of pads and carpets and helped me decide which type would be best for my home. He installed carpet in 3 bedrooms, living room, entryway, and hallway in 3 days, just like he said he would. He worked quickly and didn't leave a mess. I am very satisfied with his quality work and would recommend him without hesitation.Mar 6, 2017Verified
We remodeled a closet which required removing some old flooring tracks from previous closet doors which left an uneven carpet line that stuck out in front of new doors. We hired Stephen to patch in some matching remnant from our current carpet so we didn't have to replace the whole bedroom carpet. He did an excellent job making it as unnoticeable as possible for this sort of situation. Stephen is courteous, on time & a good communicator.Apr 5, 2016Verified
I know that look on your face. You're weighing the occasional joy you get out of having a dog against the fact that you just had this carpet installed and damn if the dog didn't just tear a seven-foot hole in it. I know that look because I've been there. Our dog found a seam on newly installed carpet and ripped it up a good seven feet out from the wall, and also tore the carpet up from the tack strip along the same wall. All in all, probably about twelve square feet of damage. Needless to say, I needed help. Stephen was that help. Using a remnant we had left over, Stephen patched the carpet better than I had any business expecting. It isn't invisible - if anyone tells you they can make it invisible, they don't know what they're talking about. But dang if it isn't close. In about four hours, Stephen managed to fix the damage our dog did. Now, with Zeus asleep in his bed and my carpet intact, I can honestly say that I couldn't have been happier with Stephen's workmanship, professionalism, or timely service. I've given Stephen my number and told him that if anyone ever needs a reference, he could have them contact me. I still stand by that. If you want to see his handiwork, get in touch with him and ask for my number. I'll send pictures your way.May 15, 2015
I am a residential redeveloper focusing primarily on the Madison, WI market. I have a a small rental business (duplex) as well as several single family homes in the area. I contacted stephen after my previous installer moved on to pursue other opportunities, and was impressed with photos detailing his previous experience as well as his knowledge and professionalism over the phone. He was able to come to the jobsite on short notice and help me make decisions to balance cost and quality. When the carpet I chose from his samples wasn't able to be delivered in the timeframe I needed, he actually met with me at Menards and helped me pick a frieze style of good quality and low price! He showed up in the morning on time and the work was completed of a finished lower level family room on concrete floor in a day and I am very happy with the end result. Stephen is now my go to flooring guy.Mar 5, 2015
