Jaime is, simply put, a gem. With over 40 years of experience, he brings a quiet, relaxed, confidence to his teaching. He’s very subtle, giving just a little hint or exercise or piece of advice here and there to get you over the next hump. He’s patient and kind and it never ceases to amaze me that this veritable classical guitar master is giving lessons here in Madison. His wonderful album, “Jaime Guiscafre - Seven Latin American Composers” is on iTunes; I highly recommend it!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I am en experienced teacher with over 40 years of experience of teaching students of all ages and levels, my price reflects that. I also have a Master's degree in music.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We have an initial lesson in which I assess the students needs and abilities. I f we get along well I offer them private lessons with me at a mutually determined time at my studio.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Master's degree in music and I have taught music in colleges for 21 years. I am now semi-retired and I offer private lessons as a a benefit for the community.
