- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My typical rates for individual counseling: 120.00 per hour and couples counseling: 140.00 per hour. I do offer a sliding fee rate typically based off of .001% of your income with a minimum fee set at 50.00 for individuals and 60.00 for couples.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We will start with an initial consultation which takes about 90 minutes. I will be asking questions and learning more about you and what your goals of therapy are. If after the initial session you feel that the relationship is a good fit we will then establish some goals to work towards.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I completed my Bachelors degree at Northern Illinois University in Child and Family Studies. From there I spent several years helping families. I completed my Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Edgewood College in Madison, WI. Since then I have been obtaining post graduate training in substance abuse counseling, brainspotting and mindfulness meditation.
