- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
How Busy B' Moving works is that you pay per quarter hour from the time we leave our base until we get back estimated by GPS. We provide discounts to repeat customers, referred customers, state workers, military, and senior citizens. No hidden fees, extra fuel costs, or tax. The only applicable fees would be the tax on packing materials required by state law. Heavy handling fees such as pianos or safes will be 150 dollars, layover fees (if we need to hold your belongings overnight), mileage for out of state moves or moves going over 100 miles round trip. There may be a deposit required depending on the size and date of the move. All details will be further explained when speaking to one of our representatives.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically, the customer will call or send an email with a brief description of what they need to be moved including the date and time of when they want to move. They will also need to provide a loading address, unloading address and the address of any additional stops (storage units or other places). For apartments or homes that are three bedrooms or more, an onsite estimate may be required to get a better estimate on how much time is needed to move your items as efficient and safe as possible.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
With 8 years in the industry, we've done not only local moving but moving across states. Our team is trained to do anywhere from packing, padding, wrapping, and loading the truck properly to ensure no items are damaged. All of our movers are hand picked and have at least 3 years in the moving industry.
