Introduction: I am a certified dog trainer (through the APDT) with a Master's degree in Animal Behavior. I offer basic dog training and behavior modification for dogs with behavior problems (aggression, barking, difficulty walking, house training, crate training, and more). I work closely with clients to help solidify training techniques and encourage more acceptable behaviors from their dogs. I primarily focus on canine-friendly methods.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Based on my experience and education, I am priced competitively. Besides the consult itself, time spent emailing, phone, travel to/from appt. and formulating typed reports is also factored into the price.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Initially I meet with a client for a 2 hour consult in their home to evaluate the issue and start to provide advice/direction. One hour follow-up appointments are booked with many behavior issues and are typically spaced out 4-5 weeks to allow for work and training to occur between sessions.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Worked in shelters and vet clinics since age 15 BA Biology from St. Olaf College MS Experimental Psychology - Animal Behavior from UW-Oshkosh Certified through Association of Pet Dog Trainers Earns Continuing Education Credits every 3 years to maintain certification Owned and operated Beyond Obedience, LLC for almost 10 years
