I worked out with John for two packages prior to getting pregnant with my second child. John pushed me to get in the workouts that I hated doing on my own, and did not allow the words "I can't" into our sessions. I also loved how he would switch up our workouts from boxing, to TRX, to weight work. I never got bored with our weekly sessions! I felt like working out with John was much more than just the workout. He would ask how my week was, how my eating was going, any struggles I was having, etc. I felt like he cared about the whole "self" and not just the working out piece. Sam provided training exactly how I needed it. We sat down, talked about goals, diet, and exercise outside of the gym when not with him. My goal was to gain strength and become a better endurance runner, Sam was successful in helping me do that. Most importantly he helped maintain my motivation throughout our time together. He maintains records of your progress, which I appreciate, and helped me to realize how much stronger I was getting. He was flexible with scheduling and was able to work with my needs. I highly recommend Sam and anyone would benefit from working with him.
I've been working out with Sam for almost 3 years now. I would say that if I had started this with anyone but him and "What Do You Need A Gym For?" I'd be a 400 pound blob right now. His scheduling is flexible, his prices are reasonable, and his location is probably one of the best locations for his type of training methods. I've done everything from band work, to weights, to boxing and yoga and he's been an effective trainer the whole way. He's also well versed in Peru much every sport so if you want to work out for a specific purpose, he can design a plan to get you where you want to. If you're looking to have fun while becoming a much healthier person, Sam is the guy to go to.
My experience with Alex was very positive. He always provides unique workouts specifically tailored to my personal goals. I am involved in track, a sport Alex is intimately familiar with. He created workouts designed to improve my speed and power while making time to incorporate stretching and other protective exercises. You will never be stuck doing repetitive weight work with Alex! He uses numerous types of equipment including kettlebells, TRX, and stability balls to keep things interesting. Highly recommend this guy!

I starting working out with Ryan after I had back surgery and needed to start getting back into the gym so I could lose some weight. Ryan was a huge help reteaching me the proper forms and techniques for all of the different lifts. He did a great job pushing me to my limits but knowing when to back off so I wouldn't reinjure myself. He helped me get my deadlift from just the bar to an easy 405 lbs.
Josh is a great coach. He knows each athlete's strengths, weakness and does a great job focusing on developing technique to avoid injuries. Almost every day he checks in to make sure everything feels ok. He is 100% attentive and knows his stuff!

Karen does an excellent job and understands her science very well. She is very practical and knows creative ways to exercise muscle groups appropriately for my goals.
I had been working out on my own for almost 6 months without success before I started personal training with Karl. During the two months as my trainer, Karl created a fitness plan that focused on muscle toning and weight loss. I lowered by my body fat by over 4% in that time. Karl's workouts are very challenging, but customized to the trainee's strength and comfort level. Karl is punctual and very motivational!
