The Brew City Big Band is a 22-piece big band that performs the music of Glenn Miller, Tommy Dorsey, Benny Goodman, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and other big band leaders and singers.
We play swing, Latin, polka, and waltz music. The Brew City Big Band recreates the fabulous sounds of the '30s, '40s, and '50s.
The band can break down into Big Shots and the Brew City Chasers. This 7-horn band performs rock, Latin, disco, pop, jump swing, and country from the '50s through the '80s.
Looking for some dinner music? The band breaks down further into the Microbrew Combo. This group of experienced improvisers plays mellow, traditional jazz standards.
Our customers are thrilled with having a full-size big band play for their event. We play many of the original arrangements of the swing band era, and this music keeps the older people staying at the event.
Sometimes, our customers want to have the "party music" after the big band plays for the younger crowd. We just break down into Big Shots and the Brew City Chasers and play various music, from Bill Haley and the Comets to Donna Summer to Bon Jovi.
We provide a very wide variety of music, and special requests are welcome. Don't be fooled by a small 4 or 5-piece band that says they can do Frank Sinatra. It just doesn't sound the same without that full-size big band backing the singer up.
