I service Milwaukee and its surrounding areas.
I provide the following services:
* Computer PC in-home training for seniors.
* Repair and upgrade of PCs and all components
* Windows 7 virtualization setups for earlier components
* All versions and wireless setups and repair
Bill's services have provided in-home computer repair and maintenance within and around the Milwaukee area since 2004.
I either repair software issues on-site or bring the computer with me. I can also have the computer dropped off at my home/business in Bay View, off of KK and Becher Street, close to Milwaukee's downtown.
I recently picked up and repaired a Lenovo ThinkPad from a UWM student who had dropped and cracked the screen. (She enjoyed the pickup and drop-off service).
Keep in mind that repair time is dependent upon parts' availability from vendors and shipping priorities set by the customer.
Another customer had a new Toshiba laptop that would encounter hard drive errors randomly upon startup. She sent it in, under warranty, to the factory and they did not resolve the issue. She had this problem for quite a while (the machine had windows 8 and she was ready for me to install and try windows 7).
The problem was: she never learned how to use windows 8 and shut it down incorrectly causing it to start in repair mode.
You see, if you talk to me about the problem, I can try to solve it through what events and things the user's going through or what events lead up to that point of not functioning properly.
Keeping in mind event logs and error reports are generated by the machine (which may point to a general error but not be specific in what's happening), I am flexible with repair times, and I try to accommodate my customers.
I feel that computers in this day and age are a necessity and an integral part of our everyday lives. A quick, cost-effective approach is an integral part of my service to you as a customer.
Computers and how things operate come in their own native language, and my service includes a personal need to explain in plain English.
