I have had many opportunities to work directly with Ms. Albina Habrle in her capacity as owner of Fred Astaire Milwaukee dance studio. Ms. Habrle is very kind, supportive, and helpful in regard to the dance lessons, the costumes, and all related aspects of ballroom dance. She has gone out of her way to assure that I would have an appropriate costume in time for a recent event, and she even conferred with me when I was looking at dance costumes while out of town (looking at pictures to help me make a good choice). She always ensures that the costume, hair, and makeup look right.. She encourages every student with helpful suggestions and makes an effort to know and greet all her clients by name. A well-organized and efficient manager, she responds promptly and thoroughly to all questions. She has hired an absolutely fabulous, caring and knowledgeable staff who make dance lessons a joy. In all ways she is dedicated to delivering a quality product to students who are taking ballroom dance lessons.

My time spent at the Fred Astaire Dance Studio of Milwaukee is truly golden. After I've taken dance lesson, enjoyed a social dance party, or performed a choreographed routine, I feel terrific, both physically and mentally. The professional instructors are warm, engaging, helpful, and extremely talented, not only in their own dance abilities but their impressive facility for teaching students of all levels, ages, and abilities. They have challenged me to do things I never thought I could do on the dance floor and to channel my love of different kinds of music into a myriad of dance styles that I love. In addition, I can't overlook the fine friendships my husband and I have made through our Fred Astaire activities: we've met so many absolutely lovely people among the studio's patrons. The dance studio is definitely our happy place!

4 stars for studio overall- a good and sustainable business model, just didn't like the frequent pitches and suggested sales. All staff are friendly and helpful. Lots of extra activities to help build a community at the studio. Always clean and have spaces to change clothes. 5 stars for the dance instructors. Both Jade and Brandon were professional, personable, patient, and fun :D. My boyfriend and I had the opportunity to take 9 lessons from them through a package and a certificate we had. Lessons started promptly and they listened to what we had asked to learn. The last lesson we were able to alter a little bit to help us be independent of the instructors (much appreciated btw!). We'll be taking a break for a while but will probably be back soon. Overall, highly recommend if you like to dance or want to learn!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our lessons and lesson packages are based on each of our students or couples individually as everyone is interested in doing something different. Upon joining us for your first introductory dance lesson and allowing our instructors to get to know you and your interests, your instructor will present you with lessons and packages that best suit what you are looking for or looking to do in the dance world.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
In joining us as a new student(s), your first private dance lesson with Fred Astaire Dance Studio of Milwaukee will include touring our facility, meeting and getting to know your instructor as he/she works with you to understand your interests, learning the basic steps to 3 or 4 of our most popular social dances - Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot and Push Pull, and, of course, enjoying yourself!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All of our professional dance instructors are certified through Fred Astaire Dance Studios via the National Dance Council of America and under go tests on a regular basis to keep up with the latest skills and dance knowledge. For more information on this please visit NDCA.org
