Marissa's Tutoring

Introduction: Hi, my name is Marissa! I'm 20 years old and am currently attending UW-Milwaukee for elementary education, although I attended the Milwaukee School of Engineering this past year. I have been tutoring since I was 9 and have been teaching Sunday School for 2-year olds through 2nd grade, with a special needs girl as well for almost 4 years now. I currently work for Varsity Tutors, tutoring preschool through college in math, English, and ACT prep. I specialize in math and English/language arts. I worked in a preschool and day care as well in the past few summers. This year, I have been doing field experience in the MPS schools as well and learning more about teaching! I love watching children grow, develop, and learn new things. I truly love and care for all the children I tutor and make sure that they are able to thrive when I am around, whether it is learning new things, or working on things they already know. (I guess that's the teacher side of me coming out!) I do have my own vehicle so transportation is not an issue. I am able to come to your home or meet at a library or such.
