- How did you get started doing this type of work?
The inspiration behind starting Gutter Enterprises came about when I realized how many people were oppressed from the negative experiences that theyve encountered from their past. Due to those negative experiences, a large majority of those individuals believe that theyre insignificant, without purpose, and incapable of having a joyous, productive, meaningful life; which ultimately causes them to become repulsive, rebellious, and develop a defeated mentality, based on their unresolved issues and circumstances. Being able to relate to this way of life, and firsthand knowing how unfortunate situations can set up barriers when it comes to positive thinking, Gutter Enterprises emerged as I began to testify about my life experiences through music, media, and public speaking. As a result, Gutter Enterprises has evolved as a company that illustrates Hope, regardless of your background, ethnicity, shortcomings, or education.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
The bookings that I receive comes from various organizations. Some organizations request me to do motivational speaking, keynote their events, or perform spoken word poetry for a particular cause. My hope is that I can serve the needs of the people; and utilize my abilities to reach out to those in need of hope, love, and encouragement.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
In behalf of United Way of Greater Milwaukee, I was able to be the featured speaker at Discovery World in Milwaukee, WI for the United Way Campaign Kick-Off. Organizations such as WE Energies, Johnson's Control, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, and others were present; and I was able to deliver a message that inspired many.
