- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've always had a passion for the arts and earned a BFA degree (bachelor of fine arts) with an emphasis in graphic design work from Cardinal Stritch University. I landed my first position as a graphic designer at a small marketing company and was exposed to many aspects of the business. That experience lead me to freelance after I got married and started my family.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I mainly design or redesign logos and help create printed and digital marketing pieces.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
It can take hours of research, looking for inspiration sources and brainstorming ideas to get to the first round of hardcopy designs we present to the client.
