- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The pricing system is not complicated, but it requires looking at the project prior to submitting a quote. It is impossible to give a fair and accurate quote from an email. There are many factors that play into pricing a tree removal, trimming, snow removal, etc.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
If the customer requests a quote through Thumbtack, email etc, I will reply with a message personally to let the customer know that I would like to come over and meet them and give them an accurate written quote. If I am not able to meet with them, I will leave them with a detailed written quote explaining the service I will provide for the price. Once the customer contacts me to hire me, I will go through and give them a scheduled date and answer any questions they may have. I have a great assistant that takes care of answering the phones and she will work with the customer in every way possible. It is important to me that a new customer feels appreciated for hiring me and knows that they made the right choice.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 35 years of on the job tree service experience. My wife who takes care of the office and phones has over 25 years of customer service experience.
