Alliance was on time and relentless with their work ethic. I mean, there were four guys moving as a one unit at all times. In all honesty, I believe the move should have taken 7-8 hours, as they initially suggested. However, they did it in 5.5. And they actually cared about the property the moved it out of, the property they moved it into, and the furniture itself. Best moving experience yet.
I wish I could give a rating of less than one star. First and foremost. ASK FOR A RECEIPT! With all the craziness during my move, I didn't think to ask for a receipt, nor did I sign any paperwork. No proof of insurance coverage from the company... Nothing. When I asked for a copy of the receipt after the fact, Grady, the owner responded with, we don't really do that. Now we can get into my move and the nightmare that ensued. These people moved us back in May and in the process my 65" TV was damaged (back light cracked and after looking at it closely discovered a big gouge in the screen). I've said before and I'll say again, I understand that minor blemishes cam happen during a move, but you can't buff out a broken TV. I had contacted the owner and his wife and at first, it sounded like they actually wanted to help get the situation resolved. Then I stopped receiving correspondence. I filed a complaint via certified mail to the company, no response. I reached out to Contact 6, Grady stated that he reached out to me trying to find a resolution, not admit guilt. Common sense asks, if the TV had been broken like that to begin with, why would I go through the hassle of having it moved. Then waste my time after trying to get the problem resolved? Since there STILL has been no receipt sent to me, and no contact with the company, I'm being forced to take them to Small Claims Court. I will also be reaching out to the State to ensure that they are even a licensed company to begin with because I can't find anything on them being licensed. I'll also contact the Better Business Bureau which oh by the way says REVOKED when you look up the company name. Then I will be contacting the state Department of Revenue to inquire as to how it's possible for a company that doesn't give receipts as common practice (according to my recorded phone conversation) is paying the correct amount in taxes. All of this work I'm going to do because these people refuse to take care of a situation that they don't want to accept happened. Mistakes do happen, and I am not unreasonable. I take issue when the people try to avoid a resolution. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES HIRE THIS COMPANY! IF THIS MESSAGE PREVENTS SOMEONE ELSE FROM GET TING SCREWED OVER THE WAY I DID. IT WOULD BE WORTH IT!
All Around Van Lines recently moved me out of state. They packed up all my belongings with care, quickly and efficiently. I could not be there for the delivery but had arranged someone to open the apartment and their movers moved everything in without any problems. Their price was the best I could find around for an all-inclusive move. I would definitely use them again.
Chicagoland staff from owners to staff made my move so easy. I needed a short but quick turnaround and they delivered. On moving day the crew called ahead and sowed up on time. Erick and Carlos were fast, efficient and really careful with my belongs. The furniture was covered with blankets and wrapped for protection. Nothing broken or damaged in the move. We hired STI Long Distance Moving two days before we moved from Chicago to Dallas and Nick was so accommodating in getting the last minute request worked out. He was upfront about all the charges and the estimate was accurate and no surprise fees. Oscar and his crew in Chicago did a fantastic job packing and making sure everything was wrapped up and protected. Adam and his crew arrived in Dallas four days later and were great unloading and took the time to go through the entire inventory list to make sure we had everything. Would definitely recommend STI!
This company gave us a quote to move our furniture from Mequon, WI to Southaven, MS. Their quote was reliable as they never wavered from the amount that they originally quoted. They advised us of what they would be doing from the time they finished packing until they delivered the furniture. After packing two trucks of furniture they advised that they would rest then drive to Southaven. After arriving in Southaven we received a telephone call advising us that the movers were going to get a few hours of sleep then they would come to our house to start unpacking. After they rested for a few hours we received a phone call advising us that they were on the way to our house to unpack the first truck. When they arrived at our house they unloaded the furniture efficiently. They placed furniture on our main level and upstairs as directed without incident. They were very careful when moving the furniture and all of the men acted professionally at all times. We are very happy that we selected Hungry Man Moving for our move. We would definitely use this company again if we need to move in the future!
They handled all of or pre-packed boxes and all our furniture with care. We have some exspensive pieces and had a negative experience with a previous move/moving company, so it was refreshing to have a good experience. There was great communication throughout, and did an excellent job fitting everything into our storage unit. The only problem, was we planned to pay by credit card. We were told by the office that was fine a few days in advance, and that there would be a 3% charge, which we were ok with. The head mover told us this was fine when he arrived, then proceeded to have us fill out the paperwork. At the end of the move he then came to us and said he couldn't get ahold of the office and we'd have to pay by cash. He said if we didn't pay by cash we'd have to wait endlessly to hear back from the office. We didn't believe what he was saying, but obliged because we were on a time constraint. We felt a little scammed and are now unsure if we will use them again when we complete the second part of our move this summer. We'd probably require written communication from them, that we will exclusively pay by card and there will not be any other options the day of.
What can I say but WOW!! Wilson and his crew moved our 112 year old piano and believe me it wasn't light. They took very good care when moving it. If you want a great team to move your piano or other home items they will get it done. Thanks guys for the great move!!
I was looking for a mover who would treat my valuables with respect and care. ABC Moving Systems did exactly that. The company was referred to me by a family friend. When I called them, they seemed very polite and helpful. I got the idea that this company isn’t like the others. So I gave them the responsibility to move my belongings. They performed so efficiently. The crew arrived on time. Nothing was too big or too heavy for them. They tackled every obstacle like they knew it would be there. I was very impressed seeing how friendly these men were. They assured me the safety of my valuables. They delivered everything in great condition to my new home. I clearly had a great time moving with these guys.

I have used many moving companies in my life but Great Nation and the moving team beat all the expectations. We moved to New England, and they did an awesome job. Came right on time, and did a quality job with unloading and setting up our belongings. We were packed and loaded in one day and delivered within 3 days without any scratches, dents, or missing items. They were on budget, nothing hidden, and the crew was fantastic and hard working. I Highly recommend Great Nation for a long distance move.

Bijon, Justin and Gilbert were incredible. I moved into a new house two days before Christmas which is a stressful time to move. I hired B&J simply because they gave a very competitive quote and were very responsive. I also liked that I was hiring entrepreneurs that were starting out on their own after having worked for one of the large companies. I much prefer to have the money go directly to the guys lifting and hauling than a company that pays their people nothing. I can't say enough about how pleased I was with their service. They were timely, responsible, respectful and fast working!!! And not that it is the most important thing in hiring a moving company, but it's an added plus that they were also kind, intelligent guys who seemed to take alot of pride in their work.
Professional, friendly and helpful. Did two moves and got the same crew both time. They clearly cared about what they were doing and seemed to enjoy it as well. All you can ask for in any service work. I would highly recommend and will use again next time i move.
