Our staff consists of Chefs from the top restaurants in the Madison Area and we offer top notch service, food and attention to detail. Our Passion, experience and expertise in the culinary world put us above the rest. Being able to work in an ever-changing environment, meeting new people on a daily basis and sharing our passion of local, sustainable and organic food with our customers keeps us going. Ethan and the folks from Mad City Chefs hit it out of the ballpark for my wife's 50th birthday party. The dinner was outstanding and the presentation was creative and first class.

Ethan did an incredible job with my daughter's graduation party! He listened when I described what I wanted and helped me achieve it, within budget. The set-up/display was beautiful and the FOOD, well the food was sooo good! People raved that night, and they are STILL raving and asking me how I found you. Mad City Chefs catered a meal for 35 persons. The in person interview clinched the deal. Ethan presented a very professional plan that proved to be perfect in it's execution. Not only was the food exceptional (notable the asparagus tarts, crab cakes and chocolate treats), but the presentation was superb. Our guests were awed.

Mad City Chefs prepared the most delicious and interesting food for my outside party! The sliced steak with toppings , strawberry salad, coconut rice were unbelievable. All my guests raved! All the food was delicious and set up perfectly for our staff party. They thought of everything including take home containers which allowed us to send staff home with an unexpected treat. Would use Mad City Chefs again in a heartbeat.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our Pricing is dependent on style of service, number of people and selections of food. We would be happy to customize a menu to accommodate your budget.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once our customer reaches out to us we will set-up a free consultation and speak with you over the phone or travel to your location. During the consultation we try to see if Mad City Chefs is a good fit for your event. We are willing to work with any number guests, custom menu designs and ideas.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Executive Chef/Owner Ethan has been in the food industry for 18 years. Ethan has a background in Exercise Physiology & Strength and Conditioning. His passion for the culinary world, world travel and an active lifestyle lead to the creation of Mad City Chefs and the eclectic menu we offer. Some of our Chefs work in the top restaurants in Madison by day and with Mad City Chefs as contractors for each event. We have a very talented staff from all walks of life and would love to make your event a special one!
