FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first step in dealing with a mold problem is to do a visual inspection. We offer free visual inspections to evaluate the extent of the mold problem. Many clients are relieved to discover that their mold issue is not dangerous, extensive, or difficult to eliminate. We often provide inspections that do not result in professional mold remediation. If the problem does require our services, we provide an estimate of the cost and extent of the work. We are usually able to take care of the problem within 1 to 2 weeks, often sooner if needed.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our mold removal specialist is certified in mold removal by Caltex International, a company providing professional mold remediation for over 27 years. He has been successfully removing mold from basements, attics, exterior surfaces, and even whole houses for over 4 years. Please see our reviews on the Home Advisor website, which average 4.9 out of 5 stars.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
There are many conflicting views and opinions floating around out there regarding "deadly" mold. Our first advice would be to use caution when choosing a mold specialist. If the company you are considering is using scare tactics to convince you of your need for mold removal, do not hire them! A legitimate mold remediator will not try to scare you into anything. In addition, you may want to consider the techniques that the company is using. Some techniques, such as fogging, encapsulating or sandblasting are expensive and ineffective. Killing and removing mold is the most effective and affordable option.
