We hire Masha do come to our work a couple of times a week and teach Yoga. As a business owner I recognize that being behind a desk all day is difficult on the body. On the other side we have a warehouse where they are on their feet all day. Our Yoga class is a nice refresher. It helps to relax everyone and increases flexibility, focus and strength. I would absolutely recommend Holistic Cure to anyone wanting to get into Yoga or take their current skills to the next level!

She brings an adaptability to her training that allows for modification as needed by each individual client. Jessica is professional yet approachable, personable and funny. I have taken both private and group lessons with Tara. As a beginning yoga student it was important that I get the individual instruction so that I could get the attention that I needed to participate in group activities. Tara was incredibly patient and helped me both understand the postures and modify them so I was getting the most out of them. I suspect individual instruction with Tara would benefit anyone no matter what prior experience they may have had with yoga. Group classes have their benefits but if one needs to refine their techniques, learn new ones or, like me, is a beginner I would recommend individual lessons. Tara is passionate about yoga and an excellent teacher. A ideal person to study with.

Kari is a true professional dedicated to Yoga! It's been a few years since my Yoga days and Kari took the time and effort to ensure I was comfortable, offering various restorative poses to suit my abilities. I felt she was genuinely attentive and in tune to my needs and provided exceptional instruction. It's apparent to me that Yoga "found" Kari and I'm happy that she's able transform her knowledge in powerful ways to help others. Thank you for your openness and sharing. Highly recommend!!

I have studied Iyengar yoga with Amy Massat for well over a year, with great, steady progress. I am 76 years old and in good overall condition, but with rotator cuff issues in one shoulder. Amy has made a special effort to work that shoulder, in addition to addressing my overall alignment and ranges of motion. She has a good eye for analyzing a student's performance, and she articulates even the finest adjustments to one's positions very clearly. She brings great professionalism to her teaching, with her ability to demonstrate all motions and positions perfectly and her well planned lessons. I look forward to each session! Bill Gifford

I've taken Kris' yoga classes at multiple locations and have always had outstanding experiences. Her classes start with an intention and reading that set the right tone for the entire class and a tie the mind/body/spirit aspects together. She offers very helpful assists, making sure that you get the most out of each pose, and is great for any level yogi-- from beginner to experienced. I would highly recommend her classes!

Hadley was my first yoga instructor, and though I do go to other classes, she's still the most caring, attentive and personable teacher. She's great at helping me go beyond what I'm currently able to do and provides excellent encouragement and support.

    About

If you think that learning to touch your toes or even standing on your head is the whole of yoga, you have missed most of its bounty, most of its blessings, and most of its beauty. Yoga releases the creative potential of life. The light that yoga sheds on life is something special; it is transformative. It does not just change the way we see things; it transforms the person who sees. It brings knowledge and elevates it to wisdom. - Sri B.K.S. Iyengar I started my yoga practice at McGaw YMCA in Evanston, Illinois at the ripe age of 20. My first teacher was a sweet Dutch lady named Ine. If you want to know yoga before yoga was a brand, please go visit Ine at the YMCA. She's an absolute delight and yoga in its purest form. I am a registered hatha yoga instructor through the Temple of Kriya in Chicago. I graduated in 2006 and began teaching the day after. I currently lead group classes downtown Chicago and work with private clients building personalized yoga programs. Passionate about my personal practice as a student and teacher, I try to bring humor and lightness to my classes. A perfect class for me would have lots of child poses and a super long savasana. Of course, a few planks and boat poses would add a nice balance. In my yoga practice, I employ numerous styles of hatha and vinyasa flow. As well, I completed training with The Global Yoga Center prenatal yoga teacher program. I have trained with Baron Baptiste, Kathryn Budig, Seane Corn, Suddha Weixler and other esteemed yoga instructors. I am a 200hr registered yoga teacher (RYT) through Yoga Alliance.
