I cannot say enough positive things about SafeHands Movers! I have used multiple cross country, and I believe most of the local movers in my area; absolutely NONE of them compare to the level of expertise, professionalism, superior customer service, extreme care w/all of my items, and "can do attitude" that Melvin and the entire team at SafeHands Movers provides. In addition to being very reasonably priced, efficient, offering multiple days/times to accommodate a move, etc., when I was told by Melvin (and the team the day of my move) that I was "not to worry at all or lift a finger to help", THEY MEAN IT!! I was used to jumping in to keep "professional movers" moving in every move I've ever had so that items weren't ruined and I could ensure I didn't have to pay more. SafeHands Movers stuck to the flat rate quote I was given, never even took 5 minutes for a break, were SO pleasant and trustworthy, that I haven't stopped telling everyone I know to utilize this company, and tell everyone they know about the unbelievable quality service I enjoyed. Let's face it - moving is not pleasant in the best of circumstances. SafeHands Movers IS A PLEASURE to have been fortunate enough to find and hire! You will not be disappointed in any way with this company! Absolutely the best - 10 stars for sure!!

We were moving from a one bedroom apartment to a house, around a mile away. The move was scheduled for 10am. The apartment was located on the fourth floor and there is a bit of walk from the front of the building to the apartment. We do have access to an elevator. We moved on a Friday which was the coldest day of the year so far, but this is Michigan. Except for a quick flurry there was no snow. The movers took around 45 minutes to bring the furniture pads and dolly to the apartment. Once there, they moved quick for the fast half an hour and then slowed down.At around 12pm, less than 30 boxes were moved. Boxes which were packed and stacked by us the night before. This move was costing me $90 per hour and in the end, I decided to head down and stand in the cold, because I was not sure what was taking them so long. Three hours into the move, thankfully, they picked up pace. Whether this was a response of me standing out in the cold or was it because of another client in Kalamazoo who was adamant to move the same day, I am not sure. Regardless, it went way faster and at a pace which is how it should have been at the start. At the new place, except for the furniture, I just asked them to stack the labelled boxes. At around 5pm, they were done, at last. The entire move took them 8 hours, including travel time from their office. The movers were courteous and friendly. They arrived in a company truck and had sweatshirts with JLC movers logo on them. They looked very professional and not like two people off the street and that was very reassuring. They did handle furniture with care and while unloading made sure that none of the vents were blocked and that there was a path to get to the boxes. They did not have a mattress pad but covered the mattress with enough furniture pads to make sure it was not soiled. Overall, we were happy but they could have shaved off an hour easily from the move. Moving is always expensive and very stressful. I will hire them again but really wish they moved faster.

These guys were great! Efficient and friendly movers and Grady was up front and ethical about pricing, which was lower than all other movers I found. I would definitely use these guys again.

We were very happy with the movers. They were on time, early actually, professional, friendly, and took care with the furniture. They were fast packing and unloading and placed the furniture were we wanted it. Jason, the sales rep., was very easy and nice to work with.

BK Movers was hired to load and unload a truck while moving. Brian was very professional when i contacted him about services and prices were fair and negotiable. Brian kept in contact up until the day of the move, confirming the night before on time and location. BK movers arrived on time to location with 3 professional guys and were very nice. Thier expertise was noted immediately. They surveyed what needed to be moved and got right to it. They loaded a 4 bedroom house full of furniture in just over a hour. Brian is a mastermind on packing a truck and really maximized the space we had. When arriving to new house the movers unloaded the items in about 1 1/2 hours, (it took a little longer because we were trying to get a fridge up some stairs. They were very strong and even were able to assist with getting some things over the balcony that woukd not fit over the stairs. We were very satisfied with the service and definitely will use them again and recommend them to our friends and family. No damage to property at all. No even one scratch.

Quinn and his team were a godsend! My mom's movers cancelled on her the day before a move she had scheduled 2 months in advance. Quinn responded quickly, offered a competitive rate, and made a hectic situation manageable. His team went above and beyond to make sure the move was done efficiently. Many thanks again for saving the day!

To be honest, it was awful. The movers didn't cover any of our floors and it was was raining outside, not only were my previous floors caked in mud but my new house was covered in mud and dirt as well from their shoes. My furniture wasn't wrapped and it was coming wet from the rain. My daughters toys had leaves and dirt on them. My desk was damaged and is now useless. I told the owner while they were there how badly it was going, and she was incredibly defensive and didn't believe me. Apparently one of the movers is her son, so instead she called him to tell him I was complaining which just made everything worse. They movers stopped working for a while because she wanted a "resolution," and all I wanted was for the nightmare to end. We went back and forth probably 6 times on 6 different phone calls, and the owner kept asking me how I wanted to resolve this. I explained several times that the service I received was not at all worth the $500 I was paying, and basically what I got back was "well the job got done, right?" Yeah, my stuff was moved. But I would have gotten the same result if I hired some high school kids off Craigslist for fifty bucks. On the last phone call the owner was much more apologetic, and said she's never received any complaints before, which I don't believe because I see the same complaints on the yelp page. She offered a $30 refund, though I never received that either. I hate leaving such a bad review but I don't want anyone making the same mistake I did. It was truly an awful experience.
