- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Free initial consultation where I can get to know the potential client, find out what they're looking for in terms of music instruction or professional musician services. I can provide suggestions of appropriate repertoire, offer assistance in finding other musicians. For young children seeking music instruction, I provide a trial lesson to evaluate their readiness and outline responsibilities of student, parent and teacher. In music instruction, the teacher-student-parent triangle is key to their success.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Degrees in music from Bay Path College and Central Connecticut State. Nationally certified teacher of music. Member of the Music Teachers National Association. Recipient of Excellence in Teaching award (9 times). I regularly stay on top of latest teaching trends and technology by attending annual state and national music conferences.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I provide a multitude of services for my clients, everything from wedding consultation services, corporate event planning, background cocktail music. I am experienced in selecting appropriate repertoire to coordinate with either a sacred or secular event. I am a classically trained pianist and can play a wide variety of instruments.
