Introduction: I provide piano lessons for students of all ages in my home studio. The lesson focus is on music reading, skill and comfort at the keyboard (technique), and understanding form/structure (theory). I will teach chording (improvisation) to interested students. I don't believe in "busy work". I do believe communication is key in a working relationship. I have a Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Performance, 20+ years of teaching/performing experience in a great variety of venues, and enjoy a great variety of repertoire. I am an active member of Fox Valley Music Teachers Association, and was voted Member of the Year in May 2016. I am passionate about excellence, beautiful music, and helping others discover what they can do. The piano is my favorite place to be. I work with several school districts for concerts & competitions, & I am a worship leader at my home church, Shiocton Bible Church.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Find out the customer's goals and present my goals & skills. Students receive the first lesson free. Gig prospects may have an mp3 to hear me play & sing.

What types of customers have you worked with?
I teach piano lessons to students of all ages & skill levels, both privately & in small groups. I play piano & sing for parties, weddings & funerals. My repertoire includes classical, big band era, new age, and current popular music. I accompany,coach & judge young musicians in public school (WSMA) & private competitions, music festivals, and concerts. I lead/facilitate/play with other muscians/bands/worship teams.
