I have know Jon for many years and he's a great friend. Now I have to be professional and give my opinion: I honestly didn't know what to expect when I came to his recital in December. I showed up and immediately was impressed by the range of students he had. After the recital, he convinced me to take him up on a free lesson then he got me hooked on. His has so much knowledge from his years in college, learning from other voice teachers, musical theater, etc. and he knows how to keep your voice in a comfortable range and then get you to the next level that you never thought you could reach. I was a baritone for awhile and now I'm getting close to second tenor because of the lessons and advice he has given me. He is very professional and will always be there to help you and never make you feel put down. As long as you give it your all, you've already earned his respect. I'm a proud student of Millennial Studio and I recommend anyone who loves to sing or learn more about music to go to this studio and learn from one of the best in Central Wisconsin

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Voice lessons will focus on: -vocal exercises -classical and modern repertoire (including musical theatre) -Acting and storytelling techniques -Developing an appreciation and love for music For the more advanced student: studying foreign languages understanding simple IPA (International Phonetic Alphabet)
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a graduate of the University of WI - Stevens Point with my BA in Music (Voice and Composition) and a Theater minor. I have taken vocal pedagogy, studied for ten years with great vocal instructors and have studied vocal pedagogy independently.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with students of all ages, from ages 6-adult. I have taught voice lessons to complete beginners, including students that have trouble matching pitch, to students that are emerging professionals.
