Introduction: I believe the most gratifying part of my job is seeing my clients do things that two weeks, or three months or two years ago they couldn't do. The smile on their face when they hit a goal weight or finish a 5k will never get old. My job as a trainer has transformed into a career as a lifestyle coach. I not only help clients lose weight (and maintain it!!), get stronger and get faster, but help them change their lives. I specialize in helping clients looking to lose and maintain weight through healthy habit changes, extensive nutrition guidance and individualized exercise programs.

I have a crazy lifestyle that involves travel between Wisconsin and Ontario, Canada constantly. Despite that obstacle, I’ve also dealt with a great deal of health/pain issues from lack of SI Joint mobility, knee pain, and a rotator cuff issue that made me unable to lift anything above my head without major pain. That said, since I started working with Ryan 2 years ago I’ve gone from 321 lbs to 275 lbs and I have a range of mobility I haven’t achieved in over 3 years. Ryan has patiently worked with me to attain more nutritional stability. He has worked with my Physiotherapist in Canada to insure my goals with weight loss and mobility can be done safely without reinjuring (I can now hold a plank for 30 sec which a year ago I was not allowed to do anything but modified planks or lift more than 10lbs). He has helped me get to a point of lifting 10 lbs easily above my head and has helped me continue to achieve much less pain when I move which has allowed me to get back outside and enjoy walks and hikes with my husband. I look forward to seeing my continued successes as I continue my work with Ryan.

I stated training with Ryan when he was an intern at the Waukesha YMCA. I am an individual who despised cardio workouts. Ryan continued to challenge me and we continued training. After about a year, I looked forward and enjoyed my cardio workouts and I ran my first 5k! For the past six months I have been working with Ryan through his on-line training and we have been very successful with this. I didn't believe I could wake up at 5:00 a.m. and be working out by 5:15 a.m.! I am NOT an early morning person. I felt so much better throughout the day and had more energy. Another component of our working together is addressing my bad eating habits. Ryan has continued to stick to it when it comes to entering a daily food log and positively changing my eating habits. Results were loss of inches, decreased my resting heart rate, I enjoy cardio workouts, my food choices greatly improved, I was fitter and stronger. I felt Tony Tiger "GGGGRRRRREAT"! I sought out a personal trainer in my final semester of grad school as I began to notice studying took precedence over my fitness and overall health and was worried moving patients 8 hours a day as a physical therapist would become laborsome because I wasn’t in shape anymore. Ryan has been my online personal trainer from 7 hours away for the last 4 months. He has tailored workouts that fit my lifestyle to help burn fat, build muscle mass, and improve my overall strength, therefore making working full time as a physical therapist easier. Ryan makes himself available every day for texts or emails when I have questions regarding my workouts to make it as easy to understand as possible, checks in regularly to ensure I am progressing towards my goals, and is always there to celebrate success! Ryan is extremely knowledgeable about nutrition and exercise and is more than a personal trainer; he’s a lifestyle coach! In 4 months of online personal training with Right Body Fitness I now weigh more because I have more muscle mass, I have regained my confidence, began to eat protein bars, and crush workouts at the gym. People at the gym have asked where I learned to lift weights and I proudly say I invested in a personal trainer - who trains me online! I would recommend Ryan from Right Body Fitness to anyone looking to improve their overall health and wellness despite the distance from Waukesha!

Ryan is the best trainer I have ever worked with. I get new weekly workouts to do on my own and extensive nutrition support and guidance. It has been a life changing experience.
