FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My one-on-one rates for private studio personal training range from $50-63/ session. All sessions are 60 minutes in length. My small group (2-4 people) training rates range from $23-31 per session. All group sessions are also 60 minutes in length. My online training option is $75-$115/month.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When I meet a new potential client I open the conversation up to you. I want to know as much about you as possible right off the bat. I sit back and listen. We will discuss your exercise history, any injuries, what has worked for you in the past/what hasn't worked and of course your goals. Once, my new client and I have a clear and congruent understanding of your goals, lifestlyle, time commitments we will then talk about a plan. The first step is talking about nutrition (the cornerstone to your success). All my clients follow a 10 step nutrition habit building plan where you will learn the importance of protein, water, when to eat carbs, how to log your food accurately, proper supplements etc. Each habit is worked on for 2-3 weeks. One at a time; one step at time. While you work on your habits in your daily life, you will begin one-on-one workouts with me in my private studio. We will first focus on your endurance, work capacity, core strength and mobility. After a 6 week prep phase I will introduce resistance training so you can begin to really improve your strength and build lean muscle (crucial for fat and weight loss). If you are a running client, resistance training will come right away. From there, will progress on a week to week basis until you reach your goals or beyond!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelors in Recreation Management from Carroll University. I am a Certified Personal Trainer through the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM). I am also certified as a Precision Nutrition Level 1 nutrition coach. I have three years of experience working with clients of all ages and backgrounds. I have worked in three commercial gyms and now enjoy my time training clients in my private personal training studio. My background as a collegiate track athlete allows me to help endurance athletes improve their strength and speed to improve their race times.
