Teresa was my daughter's piano teacher here in Chicago from kindergarten to 8th grade. From time to time, aside from piano lessons she helped my daughter with her clarinet for her school band. Teresa was an excellent teacher & a wonderful person. She inspired my kids with her works. I highly recommend her for everyone that needs a music lesson.

Kate has been a great teacher for my 10-year old who is a beginning piano student. Kate is patient, explains things well, pushes students to advance, and has frequent recitals to encourage students to "shoot for" something. She also teaches voice. Her central Fort Collins location is perfect. I highly recommend her!

I have a Bachelor of Music degree and have played trumpet for 21 years. I was looking to improve my jazz and funk chops. Everybody in town pointed to this guy. What turned me on to Jon was that he wasn't one of these stuffy old bebop or swing cats. He absolutely kills on those styles (you should hear him shred Caravan), but he's more familiar with more current, relevant, and grooving styles of music. In our lessons, we didn't work on cookie-cutter licks and patterns, but more practical things like playing rhythmically and melodically and playing over a groove. We would also study jazz standards and play over changes (be ready to play some Thelonius). Sometimes we just listened to music for the sake of knowing what good music sounds like and how it makes one feel. If you want academia, he's loaded, but he's much more concerned with helping you to become a creative and effective musician, and even a more thoughtful human being. As a fellow music educator and trumpet player, I would also recommend Jon as a teacher for Trumpet players who preparing for All-State and college auditions. I'm good friends with some of his other students who have gone on to be successful at CSU and UNC. -Jesse Mathews

Katrina is a great music instructor. She made it possible for me to play the piano again ( after 50 years) and to elevate my singing voice from alto to soprano. I have enjoyed singing in several concerts because of her excellent instruction. Jeanine Puskas Durango Choral Society

About

I have looked into many styles of music and asked myself what the defining techniques are for a vast majority of them. Blues piano, classical, ragtime, and metal of course are the styles I have chosen to fine tune my personality on the instrument. Screaming is self explanatory, I do not know any other teacher who does it.

About

I am willing to take any student, at any level, in order to help them become a better musician.
