FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Your first 20-minute consultation meeting with me is always free! This will be a great time for us to get to know each other, ask any in-depth questions about my services, and see if working together will be a good fit for your education consulting needs. After the first meeting, my flat rate fee varies based on the consulting services you seek such as a resume or cover letter review, college application or personal statement review, mock interviews, etc. For college counseling clients, I offer a variety of packages designed to fit your individual needs and budget no matter where you are in the application process. If you identify as a student from an underrepresented background or social group, please see my website for more info about how you might qualify for a sliding fee discount, or make sure to ask me about this when you message me! Payment plans are also available for all package pricing. All other education equity consulting pricing estimates are dependent on the length, complexity, and hands-on time required for the project you are inquiring about. NOTE: You will find that my college consulting fees are competitively priced against the national average. I believe in transparent, affordable, and fair pricing which is reflected in my pricing structure. Please know that this is not a reflection of my commitment to the level of expert advice and great customer service you can expect from me as an education consultant but rather just one example of my core values in action.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, I would encourage you to think about what your specific goals are for our time together, what kind of consulting assistance or style might be needed (e.g. do you prefer ongoing hands-on guidance versus a one-time specific project or time-sensitive request?), what type of budget is available for consulting services, how much time you can devote to working together, including how often you would like to meet. Then, schedule your free 20-minute consultation with me to get to know each other, ask questions, and discuss the details of your request. If it's a good fit, then you will let me know you're in! I'll send you a services agreement form to sign and return to me within 3 business days and a link to pay and set up your next appointment (if needed).
