Vaughn is very patient and knowledgeable and makes the guitar lessons interesting by mixing music theory (which I asked for--it isn't required!) with practice. I'm enjoying the lessons very much and think I'm making progress.

Simply stated, Eric is awesome. He plays guitar like an angel and teaches with passion and patience. His lessons are specifically tailored to each studentsâ needs and interests. For instance, one of his lesson for my 8 year old son may encompass technique, music theory and history, songs, proper posture, etc. Therefore, each is unique and most valuable. Eric is amiable, open to communication, and punctual.

Trevor is a game changer. Highly recommend!
First off, virtual lessons work. If you’re like me, I was highly skeptical of them at first, only wanting in-person. Of course, with Covid, that was not happening. I contacted Trevor, scheduled an intro lesson and was hooked.
The Zoom software works well and offers a couple extra benefits. At the end of our lessons, Trevor performs and records whatever we were working on so that I have it in video format during the week to reference while I practice. This has been a huge help. Also, when we work on theory, we can share a whiteboard while he writes and explains concepts. He is surprisingly good at writing with a mouse!
Trevor is a first-rate teacher. He has great personality, sense of humor, patience, and most importantly an ability to break down the complex into the simple.
For years, I had wanted to play Stevie Ray Vaughan’s Pride and Joy, but could never play the shuffle correctly, much less the intricate riffs in-between. Now I’m playing it at 90% live tempo. In fact, we are focusing on a blues song study progression, going through Freddie King to Eric Clapton to SRV. In parallel, we are also working on improv soloing techniques. A year ago, I would never have thought that I could pick up my guitar, connect the pentatonic scales, understand the theory, and solo with real emotion over a jam track.
Without Trevor and our lessons, I would not be where I am at today. He has truly elevated my playing and I couldn't be happier with my continuing progress.
