- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer special rates for thumbtack students. The most important thing is to get yourself started so if these rates are difficult to pay please contact me directly to discuss. $95/hr Acting coaching - including audition prep, self tape, acting technique, character development, camera/stage technique etc... $85/hr bulk rate for a minimum of 3 or more consecutive weekly sessions. $50 for half hour session to use as you like. Career consultation is $180/hr - based on your level of experience I tailor a plan for you to exist successfully as an actor in any market. Includes how to get an agent, how to book work without an agent, industry standard headshots, networking, building your sphere of influence, healthy perspective for longevity in the business, expectations, how the biz works etc…
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The key to a successful session is a complete understanding of where your student is currently in their process and career. For Career Consultations - I create a tailored plan for each and every student based on their starting point and individual needs. At the end of the session they get they get their plan in the form of summary notes. This is imperative to living successfully as an actor in any market. We have very little control in this business but the good news is you CAN control how and where the industry sees you by following essential steps for success. YOU are your business after all. For Acting Coaching - I will spend some time at the beginning of the session to assess your level of experience, training and skills. And of course, what your needs are in that particular session. From there we will work in a way that is most effective for you. I will also take the time to figure out how you learn best and tailor my coaching so that we can maximize our learning time together. For Self Tape - it's pretty self explanatory. You'll have an audition and I will be your reader and tape you if in person. If you need coaching or directing, that is available to you too. I can also help you prepare scenes to tape for your online media. Very important to have when submitting for auditions. - What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an excellent amount of life experience as well as a Masters Degree in Acting from Arts Educational School London. I also make a living on just acting so I am constantly around sets, actors of a high calibre, casting directors and agents etc...So I have first hand information and experience.
