- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My hourly rate is $375 and I bill in 6-minute increments (or 0.10 hour). Many attorneys bill in 15-minute increments. Billing in the smaller increments saves you money on brief "touches" to your file, like brief phone calls or emails.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first step is to have a free intake session to share a few details regarding your situation with my assistant. After the intake process my assistant will schedule a consultation (with two of us). I will then set up a retainer fee based on the facts of your situation, and we discuss strategy, including what to expect. After the call, my assistant or I will send you a questionnaire and representation agreement that outlines what you should expect from me and what I expect from you in the attorney-client relationship.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a member of the College of the State Bar of Texas, an "honorary society of qualified lawyers who are interested in both high ethical standards and improved training for all Texas attorneys."
