Guitar Instruction

I provide private instruction in guitar, bass, and drums for all levels, all styles, and all ages.

My approach is simple, easy to follow, and very flexible. Proper body posture promotes very efficient right and left hand technique, which increases the speed of learning for the student.

We have a great time with the learning process and cultivate confidence with the many musical achievements we discover together.

  I have been exposed to countless instructors in my lifetime while earning my master's degree, teaching and observing my children's teachers. I proclaim Michael Singer as the best at what he does! He is knowledgeable and teaches without intimidating. I had never held a guitar and he taught me how to read notes and have fun. My children are now interested in learning a musical instrument and after experiencing Michael, I would not consider going to anyone else! Absolutely, genuinely and utterly fantastic!

  I've been taking lessons with Mike for 19 months and he IS the best teacher I've EVER had. I had 2 prior teachers and did NOT learn anything. I'm a 50 yr. old female and Mike knows how to motivate me, and understands how "I" need to be taught. He is patient, intelligent and I couldn't be happier. I'm looking forward to a few more years of lessons. I'm learning so much. My husband has noticed how far I've come in 18 months.
