Kim did a fantastic job with the fabric I gave her. Kim was very easy to work with and understood exactly what I wanted. When I have other projects I will surely keep Kim in mind. Her freindliness and quick service is an A++++ in my book.

Kim is an excellent and professional seamstress. She did the most beautiful drapes and valences in my home. Kim did a total of 9 windows and they are stunning. Her workmanship is excellent and they were done in such a short time. I would recommend her to anyone who is looking for custom work and having it done right the first time.

Kim collaberated with me on a drapery treatment for a very large picture window for one of my clients. Her ideas were excellent and her workmanship was superb. The drapery installation was flawless and my client was so pleased with the results, we are now working on other rooms in her home.

Question and answer

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. Panels- either pinch pleat or sheered on the rod. But I usually have a assortment of all kinds of projects.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Make sure they have the experience in the sewing field. Many small businesses are new comers to the sewing world, thinking it's so easy, and have no long time skill at it. It can make a deference in the final outcome of your project.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. I give great attention to detail in working with the client on exactly what they want, so we both are satisfied at the end of the job.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. I've always enjoyed sewing but I also enjoy challenging projects

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. Most of the time they want to know how long before the project it completed. If it's a true need to have it soon I'll always get it done by the date they need it. Otherwise most all my jobs are done within 2 to 3 weeks, depending on their size.

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. I've loved to sew since I was a little girl, this is all I wanted to do. So throughout school I took as many classes as I could to better prepare me for this field of work. I started in fashion clothing then moved to costuming, which was a lot of fun, then started draperies and window treatments and stuck with it for over 20 years now.
