I am an adult piano student. Taking lessons from Ann Louise has been a highlight of my retirement. She is an excellent teacher, understands the goals of adult students and makes learning and playing fun. If you "always wanted to play piano," now's the time and Ann Louise is the teacher!

Ann Louise has been giving private lessons to our 6-year old son for over a year now and we are very pleased with his progress. She is a wonderful instructor and very nice person, as well! I'm an adult beginning piano player and started taking group lessons from Ann Louise a couple of years ago. She's a great teacher, patient, thoughtful and very encouraging. Her classes incorporate finger exercises, practice and theory without being overwhelming. And it's fun being with other students who are learning as you are. Plus she gave each of us a private lesson after each course. I plan to keep taking her courses as long as she offers them.

Ann Louise is a wonderful piano teacher and musician. She has been teaching our children for several years, with an emphasis on their musical appreciation and building a foundation they can use to explore music for themselves, whether creating or playing or enjoying.

$80/hour, $40 half hour in studio
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Finding the right teacher is very important on both sides. You need to feel REALLY good about your teacher, especially if it is for your child. That's why I like to have the potential student come to the studio to meet me and answer any questions. It's got to be the right fit. It's a very intimate relationship.
