My name is Damien Smith, and I have been playing music professionally for 10 years. In 2002, I received a B.A. in Music with an emphasis in percussion from CSULB under the guidance of Dr. Michael Carney. I also study jazz guitar with Patrick Butler.
I play in six bands regularly with music ranging from rock to funk to jazz. I have been an associate professor at Long Beach City College and currently have a student roster of more than 30.
If you are interested in learning how to play guitar, bass or drums, you should give me a call. I teach all levels and all styles. Lessons are scheduled for a regular time every week and cost $25/half hour, $45 per hour. Music is also a great gift for a loved one.
