Introduction: I provide a post-apocalyptic Rock James industrial fever dream, a tropical dystopia from an alternate future, or a defined analog sunset over an ocean of apathetic heartbeats. Collaborating from coast to coast of these United States, The Warhorse thrives on detuned analogue keyboards, destroyed beats, melted synths, and pitch-shifted vocals, wrangling the influences of '80s party pop, post-apocalyptic brostep, and modern hipstertronica chillwave. Glazed in a thick layer of morbid foreboding, the ominous melodies and melodramatic soundscapes give way to an optimistic tinge that just won't take anything too seriously. Fueled off a steady diet of Japanese single malt and grilled jalapenos, this is music your mom just doesn't get. With two cassette releases under his belt, his next full-length album is being mixed at the world-famous Germano Studios in New York, due out on vinyl mid-2015. It's kind of dark and rather silly. The Warhorse's sets are a hybrid DJ plus live show, based primarily in '80s and synthwave, but depending on the crowd, I can delve off into disco, trap, indie pop or whatever. I do live remixing, instrumentation, vocals and more. I'm here for fans of Com Truise, Jamie Lidell, Kavinsky, What So Not, Diplo, Human League, Mr. Oizo, Mitch Murder, John Carpenter, etc. We've got our own stage lights, fog, and a sound system that will work for small venues/parties. The following are four of our most recent gigs: - Opening at a rap concert - Headlining a small music festival - Hollywood house party - Party in Venice sponsored by Tito's Vodka, Vita Coco, Goose Island Beer, Widmer Bros Brewing
