FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to meet with the customer and make sure they are comfortable with me and what I have to offer. I'll need to know everything about the event; the venue, the style, what vibe you are looking to achieve, any "must play" or "must not play" songs. I want us to work together so you can have the perfect party or event!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from Scratch DJ Academy in Los Angeles, California in 2013. It is a program of around a year that covers the basics of mixing, advanced techniques, up to a final semester and a performance where I had to prove that I was ready to DJ in the "real world". Some of the most talented DJs in Southern California deemed me worthy and talented enough to graduate from this fine institution.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I always knew I loved throwing a good party and providing the soundtrack is a big part of it. Then I stumbled upon Scratch DJ Academy, going through the program I was able to hone the skillls of mixing music together to create the right vibe for a party and I was hooked.
