Bass and Music Theory Lessons

Introduction: I have more real life "rock star" experience than any other teacher in the area. Though only 27 years old, I've traveled all around the world playing music in various settings and played with household name artists such as Selena Gomez, Bea Miller, Hailee Seinfeld, Zella Day, Jessica Hernandez & the Deltas, and many more. I've played notable venues such as Madison Square Garden, Staples Center, Citi Field (Shea Stadium), O2 Arena in London, and countless more. I know what it takes to get the gig, to keep the gig, and to crush the gig. I currently still work with all artists listed above, and am a highly in demand bass player throughout LA and the world. The important thing about playing bass is to understand how our instrument functions as a bridge between harmony and rhythm. The bass player in any given situation has great power. Whether you know it or not, you are controlling the harmony above you, and together with a drummer/percussion section you are dictating the rhythm. This is a very essential aspect to understand about your instrument. I have been a bass player for my entire life and understand this very well. I can and will help you to get that amazing feel that only a true bass player can provide. As a teacher for the past 10 years, I've found the most rewarding thing is seeing musical growth in my students. To be able to look back over any period of time and see the skills and education of music they've developed. I always aspire to try and bring the same joy I get from playing music to my students.
