I think that I have come a long way from when I first started. I had to figure out how to get my name out there and luckily for me, my friend was starting out as a photographer as well. We did a lot of test shoots and project pieces. It was fun because it didn't feel like work for me. We do get a lot of work by word of mouth. My usual clients are always happy with my service.
For Jenn Torres, the body is a canvas and makeup is just one element of an entire image---an element that she has mastered to enhance. It's all about finding that balance between listening to ideas, pleasing her clients, and having her own creative stamp on the makeup artistry she does. My favourite project would have to be an engagement shoot Jessography and I did. Everything came out so beautiful and magical. They are high school sweethearts and were just so laid back.
