Donald Kung is an outstanding real estate professional and his company is very well managed. We worked with him and his mortgage broker for over a year to find the perfect home. His attitude is very professional, respectful and calm. He assisted us during a very competitive time in the San Mateo real estate market and his patience and negotiating skills made it all possible. I've worked with Donald to purchase a home last year and he was surprisingly great. My impression of realtors are they don't care and push you and push you. Donald was the opposite; he understood what we were looking for, didn't keep taking or forcing us to look at houses outside of our budget and really felt like he want to protect us. I act as a real estate financial advisor, so besides the typical work of helping individuals list and sell their homes, I also work extensively with investors and Buyers to calculate the Cap Rates and ROI's on various types of properties, both residential and commercial.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Many listing agents ask for a set term of time for the listing, irregardless of the service you will receive. This contract locks you in during that period. I feel this makes the client uncomfortable in committing to that agent for fear of making a mistake with the largest family investment they will make.
