Introduction: I don't just teach guitar, I teach music. Many guitar players have a limited understanding of music, they can play amazing parts but don't know what they are playing, or how it fits in (or doesn't fit in) with the music. I teach my students in such a way that they understand every note they are playing, and they are well equipped to learn other instruments once they become proficient at guitar.
I love watching others fall in love with music, and with guitar.

Taylor is an awesome guitar instructor. I started taking lessons 2 years ago, I had never taken any musical instrument lessons before. Now I have started playing in our church worship band and I absolutely love it. Taylor is a very encouraging instructor-always focusing on the positive but definitely has challenged me which has helped me grow as a guitar player. He does a great job of balancing my lessons with practical skills and also music theory. Taylor is very good at helping me set short and long term goals which keeps me motivated to practice. Taylor is also very mindful of our lesson time and always makes sure to teach to the last minute of our scheduled lesson(and then some). Taylor is clearly a talented musician and passionate about his craft-that passion comes through in his teaching, he teaches because he loves guitar and music and he wants others to love it too. I highly recommend him as a guitar instructor!
