I was not impressed, as I felt like they just wanted my money. Each week, we’d just sing songs that I’d get to pick. We never went over proper singing techniques, how to bridge the gap in singing, etc. I felt like no progress was made because nothing was ever taught. I found a cheaper instructor who’s much more knowledgeable elsewhere."See more

First off, He has all the skills that you’d expect in any good teacher - patience, professionalism, communication, attentiveness, adaptability, etc. But more importantly, he has an insane level of knowledge and wisdom that I’ve never come across before in any other music teacher (including in professional music schools). The fundamental ideas and techniques that I’ve been learning from him have completely elevated my skill and interest in the guitar, and music in general. I’ve never considered myself particularly musically-inclined, but now I can envision a future where I’m an actual talented, respected bass player (if I practice, of course).
