A. We have many types of jobs. We have investors who buy a home, fix it up and put it up for re-sale. We have home owners who have us come in to consult on what they need to do to prepare the home for sale. We have home owners who want us to come in and actually do the staging for them. Then we have seniors who need assistance in downsizing from their larger family home to a senior living facility.
A. When looking at hiring a professional stager make sure you talk personally to each of the stagers you are considering. Don't only look at pricing. The lowest price isn't necessarily the best deal. Ask what their average days on market are for your area. Do they research, or already know, the demographics for your particular area. Are they someone you can work with personally. Do they have other customers you can contact to see how satisfied they are with their services. Ask how are they going to make your home memorable to potential buyers!
A. Staging isn't just for empty homes. I have found recently that many people believe staging only applies to empty homes. Almost EVERY home can benefit from staging. Its often difficult for home owners to look at their home in a neutral/object light. You've lived there, put your hard work into it, and put in the things that you enjoy. Your personality is stamped on the home. That's where professional staging comes in. Stagers are trained to show the home in its best light while making it a neutral place where buyers can see themselves living.

A. We specialize in getting vacant and distressed properties sold quickly and for top dollar!! Realtors know that vacant properties stay on the market at least 3 to 4 times longer that occupied properties, as do home builders. That's one reason why all the major home builders have model homes.
A little known fact about vacant homes is that empty spaces look smaller than they actually are! That means that most potential buyers cannot picture their furniture in the home. Furnishing the property, even sparsely, will give the potential buyers a good reference point. It will also show how the empty space can be used.

At Colorado Premier Staging we are serious about continuing our education in order to stay current in the latest developments and in learning those processes that continue to move our days on market lower and lower! We attend a minimum of 2 advanced training sessions per year and are continually reviewing our processes and procedures for improvement.
