The Gift of Music
Anna Fagan built Fagan Piano Studio because of her desire to make a connection between modern technology and the traditional methods of teaching. She admits that keeping up with the newest trends in both music and technology and finding ways to enhance her students' education were her biggest challenges so far.
Since I'm continually attending workshops on the local, state, and national levels, I'm able to keep up with the latest styles in music, as well as developing new ways to teach classic piano repertoire. My use of music theory software on both desktop computers and the iPad allow my students to accelerate their music reading skills, so they can then progress to working on ways to express themselves more effectively through developing better technical skills.
Anna works with students of all ages, skill levels and musical goals. She makes it a point to always know her student's goals in studying music. She also added that seeing her students' success brings great satisfaction and fulfillment. One of her most memorable recent projects includes developing an ensemble group at a retirement center that is composed of students in their 70s, 80s and 90s using digital keyboards, which turned out as a huge success.
