Introduction: Berklee College of Music Graduate 2014! 🎓 I’m extremely passionate about sharing the gift of music! I have been teaching music to all age ranges and backgrounds since 2010 with plenty of experience teaching Drum Set, Percussion, Kamale N’goni, Didgeridoo, Guitar, Bass, Piano, Ukulele, and Vocals! No previous experience necessary! Children and Adults welcome! My focus is to share the joy of music while truly keeping the best interest of the student in mind. Lesson Plans are catered to each student based on their individual needs to make sure we are learning, growing, and above all else having fun while doing so. I have to send a very heartfelt thank you to Lex. My son, Patrick, was terrified of the recital so we let him opt out. Lex, on the other hand, wouldn't let him completely off the hook and insisted he perform just for me. Patrick is EXTREMELY shy about his abilities in every area and especially music. We rarely hear him on his kit at home...only catching consistent practice on pillows and furniture as his instrument. He's only 9, so we just thought it best not to pressure him. Lex made him perform yesterday and I was "allowed" by Patrick to video. We are floored over what Lex has taught him in the last year. My jaw was on the ground the entire performance. I couldn’t help but shed tears of joy at the end of the performance as I didn’t know my son was capable of such a thing. I’m so grateful that Lex has been so passionate about his teachings and being such a positive influence for Patrick and his other students. So, thank you to Lex for his instruction and his encouragement to find a way to showcase Patrick's talent that was appropriate for him. We are so proud of our son!
