I am a website business consultant, and I'm the best in the business. I help ordinary business owners establish an online presence, or improve the one they already have substantially.

My clients range from large companies like Go-Part.com with revenues around $3M per year to medium-sized companies like ArizonaTools.com and AquaSealUSA.com with revenues of around $700K per year to small "mom and pop" businesses like BarbaraPaynePhoto.com with revenue of around $10K per year.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Have a goal in mind.

It's really difficult for me to help you if you don't have an end goal in mind.

Be Flexible.

Some of my methods are a bit unorthodox, and may surprise you at first, but they get results; so try not to be "married" to any one strategy or idea when we start working together.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. The only thing I would have wish I knew when I first got started is to focus on a specific thing, and to become the best at that.

Trying to be a jack of all trades is generally a bad idea, and just weakens your focus on what you could become the best at.

I also tried to my hand at a lot of different things, assuming that "a little from a lot of different sources" would be the best way to generate income. Boy was I wrong!

Now I have decided to focus and become the best Website Business Consultant on Earth! =0)

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. 1) Can they help you accomplish your end goals?

The answer to this question is usually onerous or as ambiguous as the question itself. But only an honest consultant will tell you the truth if what you're trying to accomplish is too far-fetched, or not interesting enough for them to want to help you.

2) Can they work with your budget?

I have had a few situations where the clients' end goals were more grandiose than the budget they had allotted to accomplish those goals. So now I'm in the habit of informing a client of there is an obvious imbalance between what they would like to accomplish and what it will cost us to get there together.

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. 1) Do you really need my services?

I've come across a lot of clients who shouldn't be in the business they're in, and they're "grasping at straws" trying to keep it afloat, when in reality, they should just let it go, because they're chasing business, rather than allowing the business to come to them.

2) Do you feel like something is missing?

If you are having a hard time, and just feel like "something is missing" or there is "something you're not seeing", then you are the exact kind of client I'm looking for, because odds are you're feeling is right on target. Having someone who can see you and your business without the same "vision" as you, often reveals things that have been overlooked, or under-utilized, simply because no one person can know everything. I'm like an extra set of eyes an ears to help notice things you might have missed or overlooked, simply because you're the business owner. Heck, I even have a consultant I work with for my own business as a consultant, because I know she'll notice things I might miss in the same fashion in my own business. No one person can know or see all. =0)
