This year I sent my two daughters to a prestigious college prep school in Bradenton called Saint Stephens Episcopal School. Last week I withdrew my 11 yer old sixth grade daughter after she was intimidated and humiliated by a group of two principals, one security guard and three police detectives who interviewed her all at once upset and crying over an incident on the private school bus in which a 15 year old boy said he was a sharp shooter in the junior olympics, had six guns under his bed showed the other students pictures of targets with bullet holes in them and threatened to kill another boy who was only 9 years old.

Since my daughter Olivia entered school she first accused of cheating on her home work (and the school mistakenly neglected to notify me of the accusation), then recently the principal called me to say she is accused a cheating a second time and do I not know about the two incidents (I did not). Then she was suspended from school for saying I'm going to kill you with my apple" to a boy who would not stop poking her in the ribs while riding the bus.

My daughter is so upset and traumatized my these experiences that she prefers to return to public school. My legal claim is that this malfeasance deprives her of a better education with a brighter future for which I went to a lot of trouble to help her gain admission, do financial aid applications, gather records, obtain letters of recommendation, etc., and all is lost after only two months. My daughter has good grades and no background of cheating. She is personable and well liked by children and adults.
