FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
When I was a young girl, my mother would say,..."money doesn't grow on trees you know" and I've found this to be true! You work hard for your money and we absolutely respect that. That's why we are committed to providing the best service and value possible for your budget. Phone consultations are the 1st step in capturing your vision for this service. Service type, venue, menu, service style, cost of goods, staff, rentals, administrative and production fees, are factored into every proposal but there are many other variables which determine the overall price of service. Brunch service, seated receptions or cocktail parties are available at your request and are priced accordingly. Fun, and laughter are always free of charge!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, we offer our sincerest thanks for your inquiry. There are hundreds of Thumbtack professionals in the metro-area and beyond, and we are most grateful for your interest. Next, we schedule a call so that we may collect a few more details concerning the service requested. Afterwards, we ask about your vision for the service or event so that we may do our part in bringing that vision to light. Lastly, we talk turkey!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
For several years, I had worked as a culinary specialist and instructor for an upscale kitchenwares & furniture retailer, teaching cooking techniques classes and product education. In addition, I worked as a sales associate and product demonstrator for Vitamix, preparing smoothies, soups and ice cream for customers. It was in this capacity that my culinary skills developed and evolved to a higher standard of professionalism which lead me to create Good Fork Catering Company.
