Learning How to Make Your Own Music
I started teaching a couple people here and there. I only used fliers at the time...Now, with over 10 years under my belt, I am much more confident -- I've learned to be flexible with things I used to be rigid with, and vice versa, and I've learned that I love what I do!
Rachel of First Chair Fiddlers has been playing the violin since she was nine and the guitar at fifteen years old. She also studied in the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where she trained in piano and vocal pedagogy. Her studio is dedicated to introducing music to students through singing, violin, viola, piano, guitar and ukulele lessons.
My spring recital in June 2012 was, to this point, my favorite and most successful. I had 13 students each play a solo piece and an ensemble piece at a venue that was just superb. It was such a joy.
A life coach as well, she is thrilled to discover what people really want and helps them achieve their dreams. Her passion lies in connecting with people, teaching music and introducing a new level of expression they did not know they had.
