FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Continuing Education is required in our field, so all agents must take classes in various real estate topics. Most agents, however, aren't members of our Real Estate Investing Association, the Mid America Association of Real Estate Investors, a national trade organization focused on giving timely investing topics. This helps me because I learn new ways to help sell your home. Some homes need creative exit strategies to get sold, and we implore any and all ways that most agents have never heard of.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Not all agents are created equal! I can't stress this enough after seeing how poorly some of these 'top agents' work to sell your home. At our company, we buy houses and market them ourselves. We treat your home the same way we market to sell our own homes, which is a huge difference than the agents who don't understand the importance of good marketing in today's world.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Are you a full time or part time Realtor? (only use full time Realtors and not someone who can only work for you after 9-5). How often do you sell houses? (The less houses you sell, the less comfortable you are with the process. I sell over a million dollars of Real Estate every year and have great systems in place to sell your home). do you know how to post a virtual tour on MLS? (Very few Realtors know how to do this important step. Think about it this way, if you were a buyer, do you want to look at 10-25 pictures, or have a link to see the rest of the 50-150 pictures of the house? I include a virtual tour in every listing, regardless of price).
