FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For most services I provide a base price. You can add other services for additional fees. For example, if you would like extra retouching or an extra thirty minutes beyond what is provided in the service package, you will need to pay extra fees.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
With a new customer, I want to confirm all pertinent details and answer any questions right from the jump. The date, location, and number of people are always the three big things I need to know. Once I have all the info I need and the shoot is booked, I will make sure to check in with you the week leading up to the shoot, just to make sure everything is in order. The day of the shoot, I will arrive 10 minutes early. After your shoot, I will confirm how long the editing process will take. Depending on the size of the shoot and the amount of editing required, this processes can take up to three months. For family portraits, engagements, and weddings I will provide a small selection of previews the day after the photo shoot. Your images will be provided to you via digital download. After you have reviewed the images, you can decide if you would like any further editing or retouching.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from Brooks Institute of Photography in 2011 with a Bachelor’s of Arts in Digital Photography. At the time, it was the premier school for photography in the US. I learned from the best photographers in their fields and perfected my photographic style. In the years since college, I have continued to learn and grow. I have been a professional photographer for almost 15 years and I have learned the most from working with amazing clients.
