Question and answer

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. Electrical : service upgrades (installing breaker panels), recessed lighting, ceiling fan installs, garage wiring, switch/ plug/ lighting updating.

Plumbing: faucet repairs, faucet installs, toilets replaced, garbage disposals installed, ice maker lines installed.
Carpentry: various odds n ends, cabinetry installation.
Painting: bedrooms, bathrooms repainted, Epoxy coating garage floors.
Kitchen, Bath & Basement wiring and remodels.
Appliances installed: microwaves (over stove), dishwashers.

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. Customers, single or if married, should know what they are looking to get out of their completed project. If a room is to be painted, they should know the color they want it changed to, they should update and have new plugs & switches installed. If molding is to be replaced, painted or stained. The customer should know what material they would like installed: hardwood floor, ceramic floor, linoleum; kind of cabinets, approx. square footage of room or building to be renovated. If there is more than one person involved in descision making, then they should all be in agreement as to what is expected to be done.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. We take pride in our work! We believe in customer satisfaction. We take the time to test our completed job to make sure it works correctly before leaving the jobsite.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. Giving my customers the satisfaction they deserve, while also providing them with expertise and professionalism. I also like teaching the various trades I am experienced in and hand down that knowledge to a co-worker, and sometimes even the curious customer.

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. I took a career class while in high school that was called building trades. I learned a lot in this class and when I graduated from school, I went thru "what relative did what in the skilled trades industry." I chose my main career choice and became an electrician. Started my career in 1997, and have been enjoying it ever since. During the slow times, I worked in the other skilled trades. Now I partake in all trades, utilizing what I've learned while also still keeping my license current in electrical.
