With close to 20 years experience performing covers people love to hear, we will make your event unforgettable. We play the BEST songs of Rock, Country, and Pop from the 1960s through today, personalized to fit the vibe your event needs!
Midwest Mixtape is a husband-wife team, Matt & Laura Lee Crandall-- and we LOVE being able to make our customers' events memorable and remove any stress associated with hiring live music. We can help with event planning, we take care of all our own sound needs, and always customize our set lists to create just the mood you are wanting to set at your event. We both have our music degrees from the University of Missouri-Kansas City Conservatory of Music and pride ourselves on being professional and easy to work with, whether we're the main event or background music setting the mood.
As multi-instrumentalists, we have several options for performances:
1. Solo guitar, with or without vocals
2. Solo saxophone, with or without tracks
4. Both guitar and saxophone, using a looper pedal.
5. Saxophone + DJ - tons of energy!
6. Duo - Matt on guitar, Laura Lee on drums, and both singing
7. Full band--from a trio all the way up to a 6 piece band!
Our minimum fee starts at $300 for a solo performance. The duo fee starts at $500. If this fits your budget, please send us a request and we'll create a custom quote for your event! 🙏🎉 We can also add musicians to bring a trio, 4-person, or 5-person band.
